Yield Strategies, Inc.
We have worked together for over 20 years helping mills implement laser scanning and optimization technology.

In October 2006, we formed Yield Strategies Inc., an independent consulting company.

Now, we work directly with sawmills to improve profits by getting top performance from existing and new equipment.

In our years working in the optimizer development arena, we learned important lessons about what works,
what doesn't; how to get optimizers to preserve value and how to avoid many pitfalls. We know how to look
under the hood and see what kind of job a machine is doing.

We recognize that truly excellent results require looking beyond the setup of any individual machine. Each process from log procurement to final products must preserve the maximum opportunity for the remaining processes. It's in the coordination of all the processes and machines that you get the last 5%.

Jeff Franklin and Peter de Leeuw were former partners in INOVEC, recognized pioneers in the development and
implementation of optimization technology for the hardwood industry. (INOVEC is now part of USNR).
